Our History
Ladies In Power is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2006 by sister's Taneshia & Raquel Miller. Having a passion to improve their community the sisters decided to start an organization to support the youth. In 2008 Ladies In Power begin implementing a core curriculum focusing on mental & physical health and financial literacy.
Our Mission
To educate, support, and encourage girls around the world by providing the tools necessary to build self-esteem, healthy lifestyles and financial freedom.
Our Vision
To see a future generation that used the tools provided to them to make a difference in their lives, their community, and the world.
Our Goal
To make sure we leave a lasting impact on every young lady we encounter .

- 2006 - We first started our work
- 2008 - HONORED by Mayor Gavin newsom, S.F. Board of supervisors
- 2008 - HONORED BY The Department on the status of women
- 2009 - received our 501(c)3 status
- 2010 - PARTNERED WITH BAYVIEW LEARNS
- 2011 - RECOGNIZED BY CITY COLLEGE OF BERKELEY
- 2013 - STARTED L.I.P. GIRLS GOLF PROGRAM
- 2014 - PARTNERED WITH KOTYOI LLC
- 2016 - sTArted our annual fight like a girl event
- 2017 - HOSTED FIGHT LIKE A GIRL SAN DIEGO
- 2018 - DOUBLED F.L.A.G. ATTENDESS
